    DAK x KAPPY

    ABOUT THIS EVENT

Kappy Design is a lifestyle brand founded in Seoul in 2020. They create products built to last, designed without the constraints of size, gender, or trend. Rooted in the essence of materials, they offer seasonal updates guided by one simple principle: “3 LESS.”

We had the pleasure of collaborating with Kappy Design on a joint piece, and they also brought some of their samples along for a sample sale. From the very beginning, the energy between us felt right, when we proposed the idea of a pop-up together, they were immediately on board and brought exactly the kind of enthusiasm and intention that makes a collaboration truly work. We love what they do and how they do it.

    ABOUT THIS EVENT

We have been following MAA for years. Their work on dairy, fermentation, and texture sits next to ours on flavour, sweetness, and clarity. When they said they wanted to come over and run a soft serve pop-up out of our showroom,  we said yes before they finished the sentence.

A big thank you to Cafe Doan for the DAK x MAA coffee, a delicious cold processed natural Ethiopian made exclusively for them and they were super kind  in sharing some with us to celebrate this event.

  • DAK POP-UP SHENZHEN

    DAK POP-UP SHENZHEN

    ABOUT THIS EVENT

This one was different from the start. A full-blown, very last minute Christmas market, in a city none of us had ever set foot in, for far longer than we’d ever done before. Shenzhen was a first for us in every sense. New city, new crowd, new pace. But between the long days behind the bar, the team still got to see the place properly, the food, the streets, the whole experience, and came back with more than just sore feet and good stories.

A big thank you to our friends George and Carrie at Universe Force for making this happen and for welcoming us to China once more.

  • DAK x ALGORITHM SYDNEY

    DAK x ALGORITHM SYDNEY

    ABOUT THIS EVENT

A big city cafe that somehow still feels like the corner spot. We took over the bar for the morning, and the thing that struck us was how the staff greeted people by name, asked about their week, remembered how they take their order. Then in the afternoon, things slowed down for a session on fermentation, walking through the different processes we use in coffee and how each one changes what ends up in the cup.

Thank you to the whole team at Algorithm for such a warm welcome.

    BAMBAS UNLACED

    ABOUT THIS EVENT

Born in Amsterdam, Bambas Sports Club is what happens when sport stops being about performance and starts being about people. They’ve built a community around the idea that getting moving should feel as natural and fun as it did when you were a kid: open to everyone, driven by curiosity, and always followed by something good.

We opened our doors to celebrate the Bambas Sports Club anniversary, a community built around the simple joy of movement, inclusion, and showing up for each other. A common ground for the curious and the playful, Bambas brings people together through sport the way we do through coffee: no gatekeeping, just good things shared with good people. Thanks for making us part of it.

  • MAA x DAK: SWIRL SEASON

    MAA x DAK: SWIRL SEASON

    ABOUT THIS EVENT

Last year we invited MAA over for a taste of Seoul in Amsterdam. We didn’t expect to walk away with two friends. Jiwon and Sugyeong showed up with more than just soft serve, they brought their craft, their care for texture, and a warmth that filled the whole showroom for a week.

The smiles, the good mood, the way people lingered long after their cups were empty, we knew this couldn’t be a one-off. So they’re back. Same easy, summery vibe, a new set of flavours, and the same reason to bring your friends, grab a cup, and hang around a little longer than planned.

A big thank you to MAA for making it all the way to Amsterdam again!
