ABOUT THIS EVENT
A big city cafe that somehow still feels like the corner spot. We took over the bar for the morning, and the thing that struck us was how the staff greeted people by name, asked about their week, remembered how they take their order. Then in the afternoon, things slowed down for a session on fermentation, walking through the different processes we use in coffee and how each one changes what ends up in the cup.

We’re thrilled to announce a special collaboration with artist Adam Pendleton, marking a limited-edition coffee box created for the occasion of his first solo museum exhibition in the Netherlands. Adam reached out to us because he’s a Dak lover, and wanted something special to accompany this milestone moment. The result is a limited-edition box, brought to life together, blending his artistic vision with our passion for coffee. It’s going to be cold. Good. PLAQ makes some of the best chocolate coming out of Paris right now, all texture and depth, and we’ve been wanting to do something with them for a while. November felt right: hot chocolate weather, cuppings weather, stand-around-with-a-warm-cup-and-talk-to-strangers weather. So for five days, our showroom turns into a little corner of that. Proper hot chocolate. Cuppings paired with chocolate. A few more surprises we’re not going to spoil here.
